It was further noted that the General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and National Accord in Tajikistan, signed on 27 June 1997, marked the beginning of a new era in the country’s statehood and created a strong foundation for the development of the national economy, social sector, science, education, and healthcare.
The Director also emphasized that it is precisely under conditions of peace and stability that the healthcare sector of the Republic of Tajikistan has gained broad opportunities for dynamic development. Medical institutions are being equipped with modern technologies, advanced diagnostic and treatment methods are being introduced, and the quality of healthcare services continues to improve. The Republican Scientific Oncology Center consistently carries out its activities in line with the constructive policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, with particular attention to the advancement of medical science, the introduction of innovative technologies, and the training of highly qualified specialists.
