ONCO

Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care

The department provides anesthesia for surgical activities of the Oncology Research Center Clinic.

The operating rooms are equipped with modern anesthesia breathing apparatus, monitors, and defibrillators. Modern anesthesia techniques, high epidural anesthesia, have been introduced into practical activities, which allows surgeons to perform the most complex operations, including those on patients with severe concomitant diseases and severely limited functional reserves.

The department has 10 intensive care beds. In the postoperative period, a set of measures is carried out to restore and maintain the functions of vital organs and systems impaired as a result of surgery and other reasons (the prevalence of cancer, acute surgical conditions). The department performs prolonged mechanical ventilation, as well as epidural analgesia using the fractional infusion method.

The main scientific direction is anesthetic support for highly traumatic and especially complex operations in oncology.
