Oncoproctourology department

The department has 25 beds. The department performs complex combined surgical interventions (low anterior resection for rectal tumors, etc.), organ-preserving operations (for kidney cancer), and provides palliative care.

The department is home to the staff of the oncology departments of TSMU and TIPPMK. Due to the scientific potential of the department, it is the base for postgraduate training for doctors of related specialties, clinical residents, and interns.

The main scientific focus of the department is early diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer in the Republic of Tajikistan. The scientific directors of the department are urology candidate of medical sciences Saidov Kh.M. and proctology candidate of medical sciences Rakhmatov M.T.

1) Systectomy
2) Bricker’s operation
3) Anterior resection of the rectum
4) Lower anterior resection of the rectum
5) Delor’s operation and many other operations.
