Priority areas of oncology service in the Republic of Tajikistan:

1. Planning activities for primary prevention of tumor diseases: conducting health education work among the population to promote a healthy lifestyle, raising the level of knowledge on the prevention and control of oncological diseases.

2. Organizing the detection of tumors at early stages of their development – stages I and II, “in situ”.

3. The issues of developing and producing domestic antitumor drugs and providing oncological institutions with the necessary volume remain relevant.

4. Training and advanced training of oncologists, radiologists, mid-level medical and engineering personnel, as well as training general specialists of medical and preventive institutions to increase oncological knowledge and improve preventive work at primary health care levels.
