Department of Mammology and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery

It has 20 beds and provides highly qualified care to patients suffering from breast cancer, as well as to women with benign tumors of the mammary gland. The department performs not only all modifications of radical mastectomies, but also reconstructive plastic surgeries. The introduction of these surgeries has allowed patients to overcome both the psychological trauma associated with the loss of an organ and to eliminate the cosmetic defect, thereby feeling like a full-fledged woman in their family and in society.

The department’s employees undergo internships in leading foreign clinics around the world and are up to date with the latest achievements in the field of mammology.

The main scientific and practical direction is the improvement of surgical treatment of breast cancer with the introduction of the latest methods of reconstructive plastic surgeries.
