Department of X-ray diagnostics and endoscopy

The department performs traditional X-ray examinations of the chest organs, gastrointestinal tract, skeletal bones, as well as special examination methods with contrast of the urinary system organs, fistulography, sialography, metrosalpingography, CT examination for early diagnosis of colon cancer with the introduction of distilled water. Under ultrasound control, puncture biopsy of the abdominal cavity and chest organs, examination of the mammary gland – mammography, topometry of malignant tumors for radiation therapy are performed.

The department staff provides consulting work on computer and magnetic resonance imaging. The main scientific direction is the improvement of radiation and ultrasound diagnostic methods for assessing the prevalence of malignant tumors, dynamic monitoring of patients with an assessment of the effectiveness of treatment.
