Department of Pediatric Oncology

In 2013, the Department of Pediatric Oncology was relocated to a new renovated building, where all the conditions for the necessary diagnostic and therapeutic measures have been created for children.

The department has 30 beds. Patients undergo chemotherapy, radiation, surgical, and palliative treatment. Assistance is also provided to children with benign tumor-like diseases of various localizations.

The main scientific direction of the department is the study of the use of high-dose chemotherapy regimens in patients with malignant neoplasms of soft tissues according to the CWS protocol. Patients with non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas undergo endometrial administration of chemotherapy drugs according to the B-NHL BFM-90 protocol.

Ongoing support is provided to children with oncological diseases by the Lona Charitable Foundation. For 15 years, the Lona Charitable Foundation has been providing assistance in the treatment of oncological diseases, and also provides sick children with chemotherapy drugs
